Set between the Indian Ocean and the wild coastal landscape of Ambatomilo, Villa Kitoko is a private retreat designed for exclusive use. Three independent suites welcome up to six guests, with generous shared spaces, a swimming pool and direct access to the beach.
A VISION BROUGHT TO LIFE
Villa Kitoko was imagined and designed by Bruno Decorte, founder of Bakuba Lodge in Toliara. Its sculpted forms, natural materials and handcrafted details bear the imprint of his artistic vision, giving the villa its distinctive character and deep connection to the surrounding landscape.
Villa Kitoko is conceived as a house of shared horizons. The living room, dining area and open kitchen flow naturally towards the pool, terraces and ocean, creating generous spaces for gathering without losing the intimacy of a private retreat. Earth-toned walls, sculpted openings and handcrafted details root the architecture in Madagascar.
Three independent suites welcome up to six guests. Each offers an en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers, a private terrace and natural textures that echo the surrounding landscape.
Kushoto and Kulia occupy the villa’s ground-floor wings, with private terraces opening towards the garden and pool. Upstairs, Yulu offers an intimate elevated retreat, with a private east-facing terrace for quiet sunrises and access to the rooftop for sunset views.

From breakfast to dinner, every meal is prepared around your preferences, with attentive housekeeping and discreet on-site care. A private 4×4 transfer from Toliara and a vehicle with driver can accompany your stay, leaving you free to experience Ambatomilo at an unhurried pace.
At the villa, three paddleboards — two adult-sized and one for children — and two kayaks, including a transparent kayak for observing the clear shallows, invite guests to explore the lagoon at their own rhythm.
THE JOURNEY
Your stay begins in Toliara, where a private 4×4 transfer takes you north along Madagascar’s wild southwest coast to Ambatomilo. The journey is part of the experience: shifting landscapes, fishing villages and the gradual disappearance of the everyday. Once at Villa Kitoko, a vehicle with driver remains available to accompany your explorations.

A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. The outstanding balance must be paid no later than 14 days before arrival. For cancellations made 30 days or more before arrival, all amounts paid will be fully refunded. For cancellations made between 29 and 15 days before arrival, the 30% deposit is non-refundable. From 14 days before arrival, the full amount of the stay is due and non-refundable.
